Densible's Journal, 21 March 2008

Okay I am calling it 159 lbs even though I seem to be somewhere between 159-160lbs. I am disappointed that I did not lose more. I thought I found my formula at last. I notice too that I am within WW points too. Last time I did WW successfully I lost 7 lbs the first week and then 2-3lbs thereafter. Of course, I was younger and it was pre-disease.

I have a feeling I will have to lower carbs more. I am hoping that TOM is the buzz killer. I am concerned about Easter Sunday. Bringing brunch to MIL and then on to my Brother and his family. SUGAR! ALCOHOL! I will not be able to go to gym until Monday. Hopefully can get a walk in at my brother's house. He does live in the middle of nowhere so at least it will be something to do....

Nervous about the challenge. It is a huge responsibility to be part of a team and I do not want to let it down. My metabolism is MIA. I promise to stay on program with food and exercise.

Never compare yourself to last time. Big loss's usually mean a lot of water. So a pound will mean you are losing more fat. The most important thing is losing the fat. Our bodies are made up of mostly water, so they our weight will fluctuate constantly because of that. Losing fat is awesome, because it means you will look leaner and be healthier. You are doing great! A pound at a time will still take you where you want to go.

I'm sure you'll be fine Sunday, just drink plenty of water. You can never get enough.

that was good advice they gave you. My doctor told me that it is very important when you set out to lose weight that you not gain any back, because when you Yo-Yo, your metabolism starts breaking down. I made a committment to NOT gain anything back. Of course my weight does fluctuate a lot up and down..but I know that its only water retention...so don't let an up day on the scales get you down. In the long run you are losing and that winning you better health and sexier body! You CAN do this and now you have a team cheering you on!! YEAH!!
