I drink skim milk and avoid cheese because of the fat and cholesterol. Do you like the nonfat cheddar cheese? I've tried nonfat cheeses and didn't like them. The only one I'll eat is mozzarella make with skim milk. I buy quite a few of the same things you do.

I went shopping but didn't get the fat-free cheese because I was at the local farm stand and they didn't have fat free. I don't have any problem with cholesterol so I don't keep track there. Now I have to make sure to adjust the cheese info when I log it.

Abba - I never had problems with cholesterol and was really surprised at my last doctor appointment that it was high, not real high, but above what it should be. So now I track cholesterol each day and try to stay under 200mg a day. I'm hoping the next lab tests will show things are normal again. I do love cheese!

I have never had a cholesterol test over 175 and the last one where I was heaviest was 120 so I am lucky in that. Hope you get to enjoy cheese again soon!
