I know how you feel. I know for me....after I started Keto....I did experience hunger pains but someone reminded me that before I started Keto...I had completely forgotten what it felt like to be hungry. So I should embrace the feeling and know I was going in the right direction. ALSO ,,,for me, this time of year is always stressful and surrounded by food...
My best thoughts out to you...today.

I always have a hard time getting enough protein. Since I've been doing intermittent fasting I guess my brain just doesn't allow me to feel hungry after 2 or 3pm. So I usually do okay in the evenings. Egg salad sounds like a good choice when you are hungry.

I can’t honestly say I know what hunger really feels like. I guess I know the feeling of appetite. When I’m not careful about food I tend to have grazing days. Days when I do t know what I want but I want something and just eat everything I can find. I think that is basically emotional eating. I’m bored or depressed or unfulfilled in some way. I just can’t get full on those days no matter what or how much I eat. It is also just something to do in a very dull existence. Now that I am on Keto I have heard about intermittent fasting and am really liking it. I’m almost never hungry before 3 or 4 and eat one really big meal - ok really it is just a piece of meat. Then I am stuffed and don’t want anything until the next afternoon. I really like it. But it is hard to get the right amount of protein at one time. But I work at it.

I usually wake up hungry somewhere between 6-7am because I haven't eaten since 2pm the day before. But I don't eat much. I've learned I feel better if I don't become "full". Just enough to not be hungry. Now sometimes that intention falls apart if there is something so tempting I just want to eat and eat and eat.

I believe if you are feeling hungry you should add more fat to your diet , fat helps keep you fuller longer. it has worked for me. the only time I feel hungry on Keto is if I had a day of eating off the plan. good luck :)

Also I was 210 pounds 11 years ago and lost 90 pounds over the course of a year and still maintain a healthy wait even during my pregnancy 2 years ago. Currently I am 5'6 and 130 pounds and I have a piece of chocolate once a day which keeps my sugar cravings under control the one I have been eating lately is a dark chocolate sea salt Carmel bar from Trader Joe's I keep it In The freezer and every night I eat one to two squares off the bar. Also any Time you feel hungry have a full glass of water then ask itself if ur really feeling hungry

Thank you all lisette you are an inspiration. I have lost the same 30 pounds or so at least 4 times. I tend to get to my goal weight and stay there a while then slowly but surely the pounds start coming back. It is awesome that you have been able to keep the weight off. I have to confess I did graze a bit yesterday. Not as bad as it could have been. I had 2 cups of bullion and then later last night I gave in to some peanut butter that was calling my name. I didn’t do too bad. It could have been so much worse. And I peeked at the scale this morning and it doesn’t appear that I did too much damage.

Peanut butter isn't bad but try the low calorie peanut butter it comes in powder form and u just add water to it. It tastes great and has a lot less calories also, It's not easy but there is a happy medium and try to find things that satisfy ur cravings but won't ruin a healthy lifestyle and just remember moderation/portion is key! For example when I go out to eat I split all my food in half I used to ask for a container as soon as my food hit the table so I wouldn't be tempted to eat more than half but now I am able to resist lol! Small changes make a big difference over Time like if u want a burger have it but either only eat half or order it with no bun and extra lettuce also don't go crazy with the scale it's also about how u feel! At the end of the day the important thing is that you feel good about urself and ur choices!
