Frustrated. I know these things take time. I know to expect results in a week is ridiculous. I know it takes hard work and isn’t as easy as when I was in my 20’s. But I am frustrated!
I hoped that exercise would improve my stress levels and make me feel better- but I wake up every morning with an instant headache and I feel like I have been hit by a truck from working out the day before. I am snippy with my kids bc I can’t eat what I want and I miss my wine at the end of the day. I am stressed all day about trying to find a moment to get a workout in and then while I am working out I’m irritated with my kids for interrupting me every 2 min.
And I am up a pound! Then- all the irritation makes me want to stuff my face! I don’t like being a crabby patty all day. 😖
FRUSTRATED!!!

Come on now chin up! You have to set your mind to what you want to achieve, then go for it. Simple tips: journal your food before you eat it, make a week long meal plan so shopping will be easier, don't weigh everyday and take time for you. These are my suggestions and have worked for me. Good luck Sweetie!

Hold on now step back and take a deep breath.....now stop being so hard on yourself.from what lve been reading your a remarkable woman, you are the foundation keeping it all together.and when you feel like quitting stop and remember why you started.Pre planing meals like Patty suggest is a good way to cut the stress from starting from scratch with every meal, any you can do to cut corners it all adds up and kids will be kids as you know well and one day soon they won't be.Yeah they hover around, crowd and irritate mom that's because your their everything they love and trust and mom has the right in your own words to be a"crab patti" but only for the right reasons.so in life you'll stumble and fall and get back up and what ever you decide to do, you'll do it because your a winner.

8Patty & Murph give great advice!! Try including the kids in the 'exercise' - I wouldn't call it that or they'll crab the whole time but.... it's amazing how much exercise you can get playing like a kid! We used to sing and dance together - loud, funky music - crazy moves - loud, off key singing - lots of laughter - and the treasure of lifelong memories. We played tag one time ..... oooohh - in the house no less - all over the yard - running and laughing - then my oldest was about to get tagged so she went to shut the door to slow me down and I ended up putting both my hands through the glass panes in the door! I could not believe what had just happened so started laughing so hard! what are the chances?? For me - pretty good it seems. ☺ She freaked out thinking I was hurt. I very carefully pulled both of my hands back through the broken panes and amazingly .... not even a scratch! We spent the rest of the day cleaning up, and finding and replacing the glass panes. My girls got a great lesson in home maintenance that day! That is one of my most favorite memories....we also get to tease each other about it endlessly - I get to tease her Everytime there is a door between us and she gets to tease me Everytime I'm near glass!

Remember water weighs alot and that headache could be dehydration. You could be drinking 120 oz a day...idk...just something to think about. Keep the workouts going you're doing good

Diet is more than 80% of weight loss or management. Maybe put off intense exercise until you have navigated through the other hurdles. Just try to do do some easy resistance training throughout the day at home for now and go for a walk with the kids when possible. The scale does not always tell the true story, remember that. I used to need my glass of wine at night but now I have a variety of herbal teas I drink instead. Not the same but just as satisfying. Go easy on yourself. I find low carb high fat or keto to be the only woe that helps me lose weight. I totally understand your frustration. This is not an easy journey but you really can do this. ❤️️
