.I lied. When one is antsy and waiting, the best therapy is to write. The only problem is the peranochia on my middle finger. I really do not feel like eating, so am less likely to overeat. So far today, I have had some eggs, coffee and hot tea. Later on, I may have more eggs. Most certainly, I shall have more coffee.

My sister is awake and drugged. The doctor expects her to be in the hospital another five days or so. Then, she will have to avoid exerting herself for another three weeks. Traditionally, we have celebrations at her house. We may have to convince my father to let us use his place, or find a restaurant. The latter option appeals to me, because then Sis cannot reasonably do anything but sit there and be served.

Stress no longer makes me eat. This Keto lifestyle has helped me to reorganize the pathways in my brain. In the past, something like this would send me after chocolate. The sugar in the chocolate would then sent me on a spiral or depression and binging. If I need chocolate, which I do not, I know how to make keto-friendly treats. Perhaps I shall do that to keep my hands busy. The bandage on my hand is keeping me from needlework, but I can cook.
