I've been MIA because I had the flu (despite getting both the regular and H1N1 flu shots I might add!) It was awful. I felt like I got hit by a truck. I somehow managed to gain a pound over the past couple days.
I'm back at work today and still not feeling too hot. Luckily I found out my bank's giving all employees a "chairman's award" bonus on the 18th of March so that's a little extra $ to look forward to. Made me feel a little better.
I have a lot to catch up on here at work so I will try to write more tomorrow.
THREE THINGS I'M THANKFUL FOR TODAY:
1) Advil
2) Coffee
3) Surprise bonuses

Jeez - Your the second person on here with the flu! And my little Sophie has a runny nose... I hope shes not catching it from you guys!!! LOL Great news about the extra cash - thats always good, especially in this economy! Have a good day, and try to go home early if possible.

Bummer about the flu but good you are on the mend!!! I just don't do the flu shots. Everyone I know who does gets the flu!!! I rarely get the flu. Go figure!! No worries about that pound ... I'm sure it isn't really anything other than your body trying to heal!! Welcome back among the living!

glad ur feeling not as yucky now, but it sucks ur not 100% yet. that extra money made things better though, right?! lol! that's awesome!

no way the flu and you had the shots, well I hope they did their job and didn't let you experience the full blown symptoms of the flu. great news about a bonus!
