So...I've been a little concerned about my total lack of interest in food lately. If I get hungry, a handful of nuts or a couple of ham and cheese roll-ups, and I'm good to go. I made a breakfast burrito this morning, and even thought I *felt* hungry, a couple of bites almost made me gag.
Yesterday, I put a frozen Cornish game hen in the fridge to thaw, and tonight I decided to roast it in the convection oven. I figured I'd manage to eat one, or maybe both, of the leg quarters. While it was cooking, I drank a magical mix of coconut milk, chia and almond milk. It's unsweetened, so I added some Torani sugar-free syrup. New addiction on the horizon!
OMG, the hen was so good, I ate the whole, luscious little bird! It's probably the most food I've eaten at one sitting in a week. No sides, no sauces, just a succulent little 1 lb. chicken.
Hang in there friends....these bodies are amazing healing machines. Give them the fuel they ask for, they will perform miracles for you.

@kathleen. no....I'm healthy as a horse! LOL I just don't have much interest in food since I got keto-adapted. When you have 500 chicken dinners (in stored calories) around your belly, butt and chins, and you give your body access to them, oral food becomes just an exercise.
