So easy to get off track, I need a reboot with the 3 Day Fat Fast but can't do it alone.

Please join me in the 3 Day Fat Fast Challenge. This normally drops about 5-8 pounds of body fat and water weight. When you enter back into a normal diet, expect to put back 2-3 pounds of that weight.

The fat fast is a technique Dr. Atkins used by people in 2 scenerios:
1) Breaking through a 2 week or longer plateau.
2) Inducing yourself into ketosis quicker, whether you are just starting keto or you had a cheat day.

I love a fat fast. A couple of things I'm doing different this time is I bought Xtend BCAAs and I am going to try to stick to just coffee/coconut oil/butter. Instead of macadamia nuts and cream cheese. Another FS member was doing the Bulletproof rapid fat loss protocol. When I looked it up it was recommended to take 5g twice a day of BCAAs to help prevent muscle loss while doing.

About 2 days into it I started a menstrual cycle. Since I went through meno three years ago...I was a bit surprised. I know it really isn't a menstrual cycle but am very curious about how the hormones and fat play together. And how not to bleed next time I use this protocol.

@Becca Oh no! I've been free of "that" for 3 years and is a definite DEAL BREAKER for me. If it were to happen, I'm OUT!!! LOL...

Seems I read about the oil affecting hormones on here somewhere, maybe it was Erika. Maybe when shes back she will chime in. I suppose I could look it up myself... ;)

Way to get back up Angel! Yah!!! Love that positive attitude. :) We can have a new life and put on a whole new self!
