I had a dessert fit last night. I was absolutely freaking out that I wanted something rich and delicious. Of course, there's nothing I can actually eat without getting sick unless I make it myself, and at 10pm, I was not about to suddenly make baked custards or oatmeal cookies. Then my friend had an inspiration: She had been at the grocery earlier (it's just a half block away) and saw them making dark chocolate covered strawberries. So she ran over a got some for me, and I ate two and I was totally satisfied. Wasn't that a great idea? I really felt that I had had dessert, but I knew I wouldn't get sick and I hadn't squandered too many calories. Good idea, huh?
