I am 73 years young and will be married 50 years this September. Currently a member of TOPS. Prior to TOPS I was a member of weight watcher for 4 years. My goal there was 130lbs, I lost 134lbs and reached my goal. I started gain weight 2 years later and had to pay the new dues which had gone up to $13.00 a week. That was to much money and I quit. A friend talked me into joining TOPS where I lost 134 lbs. became a KOPS and kept it off for 8 years. Than I moved to southern IL. and didn't join a TOPS group right away. That was a mistake; found I couldn't lose weight without a support system. TOPS keep weekly journal. It include what we eat, how much water and other liquids we drink and exercise. I was doing well when I rejoined TOPS, but since Sept. 2015 have been yo-yoing. Our journal has a place to enter calorie and thought it would good to start counting them. I found the fat secret site when looking for someplace to find calorie count. It looked like it had so many other benefits I joined site.
I am retired from Library Tech Service. Like to walk; with this cold winter haven't been out walking, but will start again as soon as it warms up. I'm hoping my husband will start dancing again; we both enjoyed that. I like fish, do crafts, cross stitch, draw and paint watercolor cards, but sitting is exercise.
I have 1 buddy on the fatsecret site and looking forward to find some more buddies. The buddy system does work.

It's July 27, 2016 and I have 20 Buddies and am able to truly say the buddie system work. Most of us are currently losing we still have our ups and downs, but we know that we are here to support one another. I'm very glad I joined fatsecret and for all the supportive people on the site. I feel very encouraged by them and feel I can lose this time and keep the pounds off.

Prepping meals for the week
Yes, aren't crockpots wonderful. Being able to divide it up into portions for the week makes it even better! Smile
