I'm pleased to have lost about a pound this past week. My weight was up and down all week, and finally I realized (as I've long known) that I just have to stick with my Tuesday weigh-in and whatever the scale says on Tuesday, that's what I weigh. I'm really more and more committed to the path I'm following as time goes by. It's certainly not fast, but it's comfortable and I'm healthy, and I think that's what counts. I figure it will take every bit of the 7 mos. the FS algorithm now predicts it will take for me to reach my goal -- but that's pretty close to my original plan to be at my goal weight by 9-15. If it takes until 10-15, that's ok too. But I have a feeling that once we're into warm weather walking and generally more activity, and my body starts adjusting to the exercise I'm doing, I think I just might start losing a bit faster. It would be great to get back to the 5 pound per month pace I had set when I first started losing... What I found the past couple of months is that more exercise made me a bit hungrier, so I've had to eat a bit more, and that's slowed the weight loss. At first I was frustrated, but now I realize I don't mind all that much. Just looking forward to moving ahead...
