I forgot to say what it is. It's smoked pulled pork.

I love pulled pork, did you smoke it yourself? Next on my list is carnivore for at least 60 days. I can't do it now ...too many things going on to devote to it, I am closing a family business, but I hope to jump on the wagon soon!

Meat is where I get most of my complete protein! But, I also eat any type of fruit, nuts, or vegetables along w dairy, and healthy fats like EGGS, coconut oil, coconut cream/milk, avocado 🥑 oil, and EVOO. As I have been on my health journey for a couple of years, and I’m 55, and I teach, so for me, my body needs carbs for energy right now. It seems to make me feel better. I am still low-carb. But, I support carnivore diet. I’ve researched many carnivore people and have learned some very interesting results, especially for people who have insulin issues, digestive issues, or autoimmune disorders. If I had to pick only one WOE, I’d do carnivore. Your pulled pork looks amazing! 😁

Smoker and dehydrator were two of the best purchases I've made. Highly recommend. Salmon is my favorite thing to make jerky out of in the dehydrator so far. Chicken is a close second.

STORMGIRL, excellent info. Yes, carnivore is great for autoimmune and healing chrones, ulcerative colitis. Insulin resistance, reversing need for insulin, mental illness. Oh wow. The list goes on. I do like veggies and nuts. I need to find those almonds you like. Maybe next month.

RTGHO OHHHH I NEVER thought of dehydrating salmon. I just bought 4 pounds today! I have a massive dehydrator that i don't use often enough. The butcher even slices my meat for jerky. He did 20 lbs for me 🥩 I think i could live on jerky dipped in bacon grease 🤣 I think I'll pull it out of the closet and do a batch. I need to make room in my freezer! Any tips are welcome!

Def give it a shot! I found a recipe on Pinterest for the marinade that I used on The Salmon. First batch was a little salty because I was a bit heavy handed with the liquid aminos but all the subsequent batches have been fantastic.

Actually the last one I did used a variation of this recipe https://pin.it/5Q1oX84

More than a fist full, too big?
03 Jan 24 by member: Zoofeather
Zoofather why would I limit myself to a fist full. It's less than 6 ounces. I AM CERTAINLY under eating for my body. A pound of meat would be much better throughout the day. Meat is the most nutritious food you can eat.

SUGARPLUM way to go. It was hard for me at first. Now, i love it. If you do it, plan on adding salt. If you're not feeling great, drink some salt water, electrolites. I ate a lot of jerky the first few months. Pork rinds and cream cheese 😉 I'm sure I'll add some more variety when I reach my goal. I added variety last month and my weight loss really stalled. I love Indian food and Chinese and Mexican and and haha.
