I let myself go. I was (am) depressed and stoped exercising and being careful. now I can barely look myself in the mirror.
212.1 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 45.4 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

talk to someone or chat with us on here if you feel comfortable. you're not alone. I just got diagnosed with hypothyroidism and it caused me to gain 15 pounds in a month. I'm almost 200 pounds. the biggest I've ever been. I've been pretty depressed too. but hopefully you have good friends and family to help you through whatever you're going through. be well and safe.

Don't ever shame yourself for struggling with your path. Just tell yourself "Oh I strayed that time" and "I didn't do my best because I got distracted from my goal, and my focus". Then get yourself back up, say to yourself I will start again. I will make back that progress, and I will learn to make something different to do or to go or to be to help my mood and happiness than turn to the old bad habits next time I don't feel great ( I drink wine - I'm swopping that out for a run and fancy tea).. If you can promise yourself a treat, or a meet up with a good friend or a new dress... and mentally bribe yourself to start breaking the bad habits.. you can relearn this behaviour. I will also say, ok you want that dark chocolate mega bar and bottle of red.. take a walk, down the river or park/ if in 45/ 60 mins on way home you still want that, you can have it. Guess what? Every time, after my hour or so out in nature walking, my mind calms, I feel relief, and I never stop in to get those treats on the way home. You could do that or promise yourself a self gift at the weekend if you stick to your eating plans... maybe a new hair cut or beauty product??

I know it’s corny but today is the first day of the rest of your life. Don’t beat yourself up for the past, it’s what you do going forward that counts. It happens to all of us. You can do this❤️❤️

I did the same, reset, start again and you will begin to feel better. Lots of people here helped me, and they will motivate you too!

depression $uck$. i had it bad yesterday. makes it hard to stay away from carb foods for me (not a regular amount, but lots) . we can do it
