Week 1 day 4 Yoga x

Greetings all,

As you can tell I have decided to journal every day and monitor my P90x.
First, I had no idea the dang video was so long so that cut into me errands for before work, but I got it done.

I also realized I am NOT flexible at all, which kinda sucks, hopefully that will change over the coming weeks.

I thought I was adding protein to my diet so I made peanut butter crackers....well that backfired on me because I did not take into consideration the carbs in the crackers till I entered it in my food diary. OY! I may just throw some peanut butter in a small container and hell just munch on that as a snack. I guess I like peanut butter that much. we'll have to see.....jury is out til tomorrow.

I snuck and jumped on the scale and it was down 3 pounds and a 1/2% body weight, I am happy but I won't be recording that, I am sure it's water since this is my TOM week....Yes, I am that silly, I started a workout routine on this very pleasant week of mine.

I do have some tuna for dinner and some brocolli and hummus and maybe some grapes if I am still hungry for tonight.

making better choices making better choices is my newest mantra.

Happy Eating All!

if you love peanut butter ( and I do!), then try this. I take 1 tbsp of Trader Joe's organic crunchy peanut butter (or any other brand), 1 tbsp of fat free or regular (depending on what you want) cream cheese and some sugar free honey and mix it together. omg! it's yummy and not that damaging on the low carb diet!

Honey is redonkulous with carbs. Try this: 2 tbsp full fat peanut butter (I use Jif), 1 scoop protein powder, 1-1.5 oz unsweetened almond milk. Mix until smooth & you get a creamy, delicious pudding that is loaded with protein! Both vanilla & chocolate protein powders are delicious in it. Sometimes I freeze it & make it my ice cream. SOOO good. Much more low-carb friendly.

Oh didn't see the "sugar free" in front of the honey...I didn't even realize sugar free honey existed! Amazing. But I have also added full fat cream cheese to bulk it up a little & it adds a nice flavor as well.

I tend to stay away from Jif or Peter Pan unless they are the natural kinds, kind the one I get from TJ's which is also full fat. I will actually try mixing some protein powder in it sometime though, that sounds good. I have a chocolate peanut butter protein powder (again with the peanut butter!) that is yummy! and yes, there is a sugar free honey. no sugar in it, but it does have maltitol which is a sugar alcohol. I find it at Walmart of all places! I use the ff cream cheese because I think there is enough fat in the pb! :)

Good job doing the PX90 buddy...keep it up. As for peanut butter, I usually stay from any brand (even those that claim to be natural) that has alot of chemical additives listed in the ingredients. Real natural peanut butter should have a very short "non-chemical" ingredient list. Keep up the good work buddy!

It was pretty tasty... @Syubblefield i HEART that you just said Redonkulous....took my back to 1998.. Boy was that a good year fro me. ANYWAY... I digress I will def try that PB with cream cheese and protein and honey... ALL MY FAVS... i have never tried almond milk but its a first time for anything. Thanks for all the love. Smooches..
