Feeling great about the decision I have made to move along to OWL. I was pleased to get some very helpful feedback from Colette (nutritionist) over at Atkins site; and was happy she gave me a thumbs up on my vitamins and supplements I have been taking; and the only other thing she recommended I take is L Caritine. Furthermore, she felt that since I was reaching plateus repeatedly on Induction (and I've been on it for so many months) that it was time for me to move to phase 2 to kick the WL back in. Yesterday was my first "official" day on OWL - the day before was a very close target on meeting the mark. I have lost two of the stubborn pounds that have been kickin' my butt the past month. (Gain 'em, lose 'em, gain 'em, lose 'em. :)) So just hoping these two are gone for good!! AND, as of TODAY, I am again at the lowest weight mark and I need to lose just one more pound to be at an all-new low and in a new "decade" numerically. Please pray for me this week - I despertately want to lose 4 more pounds so I will reach the 50 lb mark!!!! Yahoo!!

Jim is heading to the doc's for an update on that knee. After his hospital visit yesterday (visiting two infirmed folks) he took it easy the rest of the day -- even skipping his class at the university in hopes to rest the bad knee. I was glad he took it easy. It helped a lot. He's still not outta the woods yet and needs prayer for healing.

Take care dear FS friends!! See you 'round the FS watercooler. :)

So happy to hear that you're feeling much better about everything. And that Jim is doing much better. Keeping the payers your way for both of you.

Good for you. Can't wait to hear more about how the OWL treats you. You may have already said (I have trouble figuring out how to read old posts) but what supplements are you taking?

Alright...great news about those 2 stubborn pounds. Glad that you are feeling good about OWL...it is so scary stepping out of the comfort zone into the realm of the unknown. That giant is really scary! I think that you will do just fine though. As for Jim's knee, I will continue to pray for him and of course for you, his caretaker. Have a blessed day, Evie! Hugs!

Way to go girl. Have fun on OWL. I just love it. I'm now thinking of pre-maintenance. I've been testing the waters before doing it and I'm liking the results. Hope your having a great evening and glad that Jims knee is on the mend.:)
