Haha, I heard there's a huge dishes sale today. 

looks like my place when. the kids leave. ugh.

Omg I was the dishwasher Heavens I had a manicure done and now no one would believe me … Haahaaa 

I don't mind washing them 

Decide by drawing straws 🤔 

eating at the neighbors, visiting then leaving was a first in over 10 years for me. Easy as pie!

When I grew up and even now, in my culture, no one dare leave without helping clean up. How rude!! Actually, it’s quite normal for guests to offer to do all the cleanup which makes sense, you cooked for hours for them, it’s the least to return some thanks. That’s how I grew up. Very different world in Newfoundland, Canada. I’ve never been anywhere in my life where people are so kind and hospitable. It’s normal for strangers to invite you over for coffee. Likely sounds weird to most of you but it’s the ‘warmest’ place on earth… just not temperature wise lol 😂

Wouldn't have left without offering, but my mom (who is 87, and the hosts know well) and for whom I am the caretaker, was in great knee pain, and had to get home so she could take pain medication and lie flat.
