How’d I do here? Honest question. I never cook beef and I did this porterhouse in the air fryer. Enough left for a steak salad tomorrow. Yum.

I’m sure it’s good but I prefer the sear from a blazing hot cast iron pan.

Cool. I tired to keep it really simple. Spray of olive oil, salt and pepper. I turned it once. I rarely have beef, much less steak, because it's expensive, so I have very little time to practice with it. Glad I didn't screw it up. Hardest part was letting it rest. So I hung upside down for five minutes. Me, not the steak.

It looks great! I would guess this to be rare (I don’t have my glasses on so I cold be wrong lol). Hubby likes his rare while I prefer mine medium. I didn’t realize you could cook these well in an air fryer! How long did you cook these?

Hey, peeper, it was rare, so maybe another minute or two for medium rare? I preheated to 400, then cooked 8 minutes. Flipped it once, but probably wasn't needed. Let it rest for five minutes. Tasted pretty good.

I saved the rest for dinner tonight. I didn’t want to waste it by shoving it into my mouth at full speed without chewing.
