well, I know I went over my alloted amount of carbs today. But I treated myself to a sugar free vanilla iced coffee at McDonald's after turning down all the sweets from Valentine's Day. I have never been so strong and determined in watching what I eat and making better choices. I have turned down cupcakes and sweets for the 5th time since I started Atkins three weeks ago. And this is while passing them out and smelling them! I even make sure I wash my hands when I am finished.
I know I went a little overboard also this morning because I made flourless crepes filled with strawberries and blueberries for my family for Valentine's Day this morning. It was a great treat and I think considering all the chocolate and sweets I passed up I did pretty darn well today!
