Man, I cant stop cheating on food. Its so hard. I would like to know how other people stop from munching after a workout or in the evening. I need more will power. I will really have to stop and think about what I am grabbing to eat. I am suppose to be on a low fat diet due to my MS but it is so hard. I will have to definitely have to work on it.

You need to bump up your protein, especially if you're working out regularly. Right after each workout you should be drinking some type of protein shake to promote muscle recovery, & your low daily total protein grams would explain your frequent hunger. Try swapping out some of the items higher in carbs & fat for others high in protein & fiber instead. When you're getting enough protein, you're hardly ever hungry.

I totally agree with what kstubblefield said. Protein is really important the first hour after working out I have learned! I usually use Juice Plus shakes (they are all natural with soooo many veggies/fruits in them and are so good for you! Ask me if you'd like more info and I can get the lady I get them from to contact you! :) Plus, they don't taste really protein-y like some shakes out there do. Anyhow..I have mixed fruit portioned out in baggies in the freezer and put a serving of that in with the shakes and 1c. 1% milk...it's really tasty and really helps curb that hunger!

I have a more low-tech approach. I don't necessarily keep from snacking in the evening, but I save some room in my calories for the end of the day. Just another idea, although I agree that protein is important.
