I always tend to think to myself how to make my workouts better. I love to workout and get a good sweat going. But I get bored sometimes with the same body workouts over and over again. I try to look past the boredom and focus on my goals. How do you guys look past boredom with your workouts?

I do different classes. Weights, cardio, yoga. Keeps it interesting. Walking is also underrated. Good for when you don't feel like a proper workout but even half an hour makes me feel like I've done something. Good luck

I try to search on YouTube different workouts and make a playlist, with warm up,light weights, cardio or dance and cool down and/stretches. I have like 14 different playlists. But I get bored because I am at home alone, wish I have a workout partner to talk and motivate each other.

Look up P90X - It's a great home full body workout program that will definitely not bore you.

I leave my house as often as possible by walking. Every day is a new adventure.

I mix it up with in home workouts:- zumba, aerobics, kick boxing. I also add walking (love when it's beach walks), and days when I feel really energized I try taebo, Billy is next level.

Dance!! Put on 80’s music and get an arrhythmic aerobic DANCE! It’s fun, like being at a club or wedding. I’ve lost 20,

I agree with LaraStar. Walking is great to add to what you’re doing. In my neighborhood most people wave and Sometimes I pause my tracker and get in a sidewalk visit. Other than that, it’s virtual cardio, strength training and yoga. All the best! You can do this.

I mainly just walk to like weight and keep fit. I like listening to pod casts on YouTube on a subject that interests me. To walk for an hour I also like the nearby forest preserve for distraction.

I'll do different exercises when I'm weight lifting like one arm, vs 2 arm or seated vs standing, cables vs dumbells etc... It's interesting how different movements can hit the muscles in the same area a little bit differently. Also, like others have said I mix it up by walking, cycling, treadmill, yoga, stretching and sometimes aerobics. Even just dancing to music is fun and burns calories!

I get bored easy too, but never when I'm working out! I walk, dance, yoga, pilates, weights, cardio/aerobics/zumba-style, bike ride, window-shop, and bike ride. I have the beat inside of me so, I can exercise @home while watching the news, Worst Cooks In America, or Who's Line Is It Anyway? If I work-out to music, it has to be 120 bpm, at least. Stretching is my fave part. Enjoy, dream, meditate, and stay positive. =)

Morgan— hold that thought. It is good to switch out your workouts because the more you do the same routine over and over your body becomes more efficient at doing them and there is less calorie burn.

Progressive overload. You get stronger, more volume, more weight, equals more of a burn. Gains in strength, body composition, and the feeling of accomplishment keep me going.

Yeah, others have already said my answer- but I just don't do the same thing repeatedly. You have to be pretty passionate about something to want to do it daily. So find new things to do. One day: I will do strenuous yard work, the next: I go for a long bike ride, the next? a hike in the woods. I'm thinking about taking a self-defense class because I have found I prefer the MMA parts of my workout videos. Imma let COVID pandemic pass a little longer first though. ;)

Have you tried Zumba or any of the aerobics set to msic or are you doing strenth training?

Running provides enough variety in the surroundings for me plus every step away from the destination adds distance with which I cannot compromise.

Search YouTube, tons of variety on there. I know what you mean, I am the same.

Right now I am walking everyday and also doing Zumba 3 times a week. I love my Zumba class, right now we are doing it online on Zoom. It has been a lifesaver staying connected with my Zumba friends and working out. I have maintained my weight and I the best part is I have a great support network with my Zumba friends.
