My doctor pulled exercising (except the super light exercises he assigned) until the mri results come in. :( I just got back from having it and should know by Friday at the latest. I still have two days when I do a lot of walking just because of other stuff going on and I can't skip that so at least I'll get some in. With any luck he'll say I can continue on Friday so I can get my full 7 miles in for the one challenge I'm in. Still not going to weigh myself until tomorrow. I have to remind myself NOT to weigh myself every day. I get to psyched out by it when it's every day. With any luck the wait will be worth it.

Walking can be good enough. It is most important to make sure your healthy! Just have a calorie deficit and you should be fine. I know what you mean about weighing in every day, it can be discouraging. Seeing the scale go up .2 of a pound makes me want to give up!

Ignore the scale... Train, eat healthy sleep well and you will see progress. What you see in scale just a number just look in the mirror if your happy with what you see then its good if not then train harder to be better then you were before :)
