Oh, great job Jillzee00! I knew you'd do well though. ;) I'm setting smaller goals, too, because it's like a new kick start when you make a goal. So instead of setting my goals out to something that will take me months to accomplish, I'm setting shorter goals, so I can get that "OMG I DID IT!" feeling to help jump start my new way of life just in case I start to get bored or frustrated! :) Intelligent minds think alike! lol

I find mini goals to such useful tools! I still remember how encouraged I was when I reached 199.

I remember looking at my grandmother when I weighed 130 and thought, I'll never weigh what she does, i.e., 200. I didn't. Passed her by. I got up to 246. So Karma kicked me in the ass. Learned to never point a finger as there are 3 pointing right back at me.

A little bit at a time. Back in late June I was at 308 and desperate. My very first goal was to hang on and get to 300. That was a bunch of pounds and a lot of struggles ago. Keep your eyes on the prize Kiddo.

One day at a time, one goal at a time. Big or little- they all count! Good luck!

Congrats! Hitting your goals is always a great motivational tool. For me, 199 is my first goal, and 180 would be my final goal. I'm at 214 as of this morning so I'm getting closer to striking distance of my first goal. Should hit that point by the beginning of March if all goes well. Wish me luck. lol

Char--I'm right there with you. Small goals so I feel like I'm getting somewhere! When I set them too high, I get frustrated because it takes too long. I expect way too much, I know--LOL. Thanks so much for your encourgement and support.

BuffyBear--that's me. I say 200, but my head is saying 199 (so I'm out of the 200 zone)--LOL. I'm trying to keep myself level-headed.

ClassicRocker--I remember my first Mother-In-Law when I was 19 years old. She weighed 185 pounds. I was always 105. 110 was fat for me--LOL. I couldn't believe she weighed 185 pounds. I thought she was lazy and wondered why she didn't care about herself. You are so right--Karma bites you in the butt. I was up to 212.6 this time. I've NEVER been that heavy! Well, I'm looking forward now, not back. Learn from my mistakes and move on, right?

MN--Thanks. I really need the support and advice. I want this to go so fast, but I know it can't! I figure to set my mini-goals to every ten pounds.
