I am a 59 year old female [NOW a 62 year old in 2017] - Living in Scottsdale, Arizona, who has had a weight struggle her entire life [have been thin about 5-6 times before, but ALWAYS gain those SAME 20-30lbs - or 80-100lbs AGAIN!!!]
I work at home and have very strange hours [I work in the wee hours of the morning...1-2am till noon]
I find it difficult to put my weight FIRST as a priority... I don't even consider the health aspect, as I am in good health.

I'm going to take myself seriously this time, and LOVE my body for all it does for me... [I have a feeling I've been looking at things from a self loathing perspective... and it's NO WONDER I can't stay thin with THAT mind-set!!]
Am going to study Diane Petrella's 'Living Lightly' program and follow it to a 'T' It's a GREAT PROGRAM... You should check it out!

New relationships are causing the players to change... RIGHT ON CUE!
People enter and exit the stages of Life, and it's ALL working out SO VERY WELL, that I KNOW my life was ALWAYS MEANT TO BE PERFECT, and it IS!

We latch on to a 'Buddy' or two or three...and cheer each other on!

Typical posts include 'YOU CAN DO THIS!' and 'DON'T LET IT GET YOU DOWN!'

It REALLY helps to have this support system... but you've gotta GIVE as much as you TAKE...[to make it work for you!]

I'm stuck at 190lbs
Thank you for your posting... I know this to be true, but was going against all logic yesterday, and 'blew' the whole day! This week [starting today] will be different... I feel lousy after my day with no restraints, [emotionally AND physically!] NEVER AGAIN!! Thanks!

Do you post exactly what the scale says?
I weigh in once a week [same day, same time;] and I take a water pill the night before [regularly] This helps me know that my loss/gain is actually 'meat' [?fat/?muscle?]

This helps me stay on my program/food plan, and it holds me very much accountable for my actions...
