Tried this one in the waffle maker for kicks. Was planning on having avocado with it but none are ripe. Good thing it’s the protein pancake mix.

Edit: Waffle maker worked really well and I will definitely do it again. Perfect size for one (could have been a tiny bit bigger, actually) nice and crispy everywhere and I finished it off in the toaster oven for the toppings. Would have been awesome with avocado on top.

It was kinda like an old school fresh pretzel crust. I'm definitely going to do it again.

I use a pita round— works so well.

I added a little salt to the dough i was cooking. Nothing crazy, but that and the waffle pockets making it more crispy to it there.
