Siegels's Journal, 10 September 2020

No scale for a week. have been a total slug. visiting our daughter in central PA, which is great to be home again. 5 adults in their house without space or routine time to exercise. and lots of meals to excess. pizza, bbq, grilled burgers and sausage, and carbs carbs carbs for breakfast. It's great and it's not great at the same time. I mentioned that I sit around all day and eat, my daughter's response was, "sounds like vacation to me". still, gotta figure out how to get into a gym while I'm here (basically not possible with self quarantine). and attenuate how much vacation food I take in (realistic goal). back to LA in 3 days. I can limit the damage then come back strong. I may not be back this way again any time soon.
142.8 lb Lost so far: 4.2 lb.    Still to go: 2.8 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

It's great to spend time with family. I always gain a couple pounds when I visit my sister. Her n her husband are great cooks! Have a great visit!!

Never been to PA. Live In OC, Ca near LA. Went to plumbing store yesterday and the sky was red from the fires in Riverside Co. and LA Co. Stopped at Carl's Jr. on way home for a lettuce wrapped low carb burger. There was ash on my 🚗. Have a grwat time and enjoy your family. They are so much more valuable than food and all. I survived a birth family of 6 and miss them even though we didn't spend much time together after I moved to Ca. as a ten year old divorce survivor to live with relatives.
