pattischimpf, they are just a different variety of hydrangea. My daughter actually gave me this one for a mothers day present a few years ago. It was a grocery store, hothouse plant. They aren't supposed to do well planted when not cultivated as nursery stock... Instead they are over fertilized to create flowers but the plant isn't strong. I didn't know itf it would even survive, but I've been absolutely delighted with how it has grown!!!! I love, love the color and have never seen another quite like it! I have five hydrangea s and that one is my favorite by far! 😁

CMC444! Please, please know I'd love for you to visit. So sad to be so close yet because of darn 2020 we can't meet again. 😞 Your flowers are beautiful, beautiful!! And like I said on your journal, yours have the advantages of being able to come inside! I have no idea what kind of daisies mine are, but they smell horrible for all their pretty flowers. I have a clump taller than me! But, they stay outside!!
