Draglist's Journal, 18 June 2020

Woke at 229.9, down 1.6 from yesterday. This seems to be legit weight as I'm not getting a whoosh to drop several pounds. Maybe after I add some calories tomorrow. Last day of this five-day fasting-mimicking diet. Targeting around 800 calories today. I will eat more over the weekend and then do FMD or something similar next week. Started the day with HIIT spinning, black coffee, and green tea. An interesting thing I've noticed is that my average resting heart rate lowers to the high 40s when I restrict calories and rises to the high 50s when I'm eating more (as I have been until this week). UPDATE: Got to 228.4 before dinner. OK with that but as I said earlier, no big whoosh, so this might be real weight. I'll add some calories tomorrow (and of course, on Father's Day!)

That is interesting about the heart rate. I have never taught about this. Have a good last mimick day.

So does that kind of mean that you burn calories slower when you reduce them?

Not that you have to share with us, but what does your BP do in those two different scenarios? Might be worth looking at to see if there's a direct correlation or not.
