day 487...GOOOOOOOD MORNIN EVERYONE!!!!....wakin up to 40s this morning and ready to get my walk an my weight routine over with and see what the day holds...was another nice day yesterday, so i soaked up some sun for a few minutes..gonna miss that once winter sets in...i been thinkin about why its so hard to get up and i think its cause of the time change...it will be changin off daylight savin time in a few weeks, and then it should be alittle easier to get up...or at least feel like gettin up...sure felt good yesterday when i gave in an got that extra hour of sleep...guess i needed it...well need to get up an fix breakfast an start layerin up for my morning walk...then come home an get my weight routine done...today is dumbbell workouts, been thinkin that about have way thru workout i need to step outside an do jumpin jacks or something to get my heart rate back up so i can keep a good burn going...might have to try that this morning half way thru workout...catch you all later...have a great weekend!!!!!!

been awhile since i posted a site for everyone to check out..this one includes your frame size as well... ideal weight guidelines ...but in the end its all about how you feel once you get to that ideal weight loss your tryin to achieve...and not what a website says you need to be at....

I did mine. Says 126, as I thought. But I honestly don't think I will look GOOD at 126. But I have not BEEN there since before my teen years so we shall see when I get to 150 and then re-evaluate :) Thanks for posting it! It's good to be aware even if you may not agree.

I did mine and it said that I should weigh 99 pounds. I think that is too little. I don't want to go that low.

I did mine. The test says I have a small frame but based on others who have a small frame, I have always considered mine medium. If I use medium and take the halfway point between 5-5 and 5-4 I get 133 which sounds exactly right for me. If I us a small frame I get in the low 120's which would have my family doing an intervention. I also used it for my girlfriend who is 5-9 with a med-large frame and it said 160-170. She is a very muscular and fit 143 and is not skinny or boney by any means so while this is a good guide, don't take it to heart if it just doesn't work for you.

I agree that in the end its the weight that feels comfortable for you, not what the charts say. And just a thought, on the frame test, doesn't it stand to reason that your hand size and finger length is directly proportional to your frame size so if your fingers will overlap they will overlap regardless of your frame size?

something ive noticed...when i first get up in the morning i cant even come close to my fingers, but as the day goes along and i get more water in me, towards the end of the day i can connect my fingers..but i weigh more due to gravity..lol...so who actually knows how well it really works...i came acrost the site several weeks ago an book marked it an thought id share...

I'm not even gonna worry about the "ideal weight" until I get closer to my first goal. Who knows what this old body will want or need by then! :) But thanks for the link - I'll use it someday! Enjoy your fit and healthy day!
