Debbie Cousins's Journal, 12 May 2020

Moved another 500+ pounds of paving stones yesterday. Still need to buy about 150 MORE (at 17 pounds each) to finish the pool project. Didn't get as much done yesterday as we had hoped to. The top rails were harder to get into the T-rails than we expected them to be. Got about half of them done, and will tackle the rest, and the legs this morning. Then, we have to put about 1" of water into it and kick out all the wrinkles (which I will be doing alone). My grandson did a good job yesterday, helping us get all the pieces out of the boxes and taking the plastic wrappers off each piece. Mostly, he just played in the sand in the wheelbarrow and played with the rubber mallet, but he enjoyed being here and I enjoyed having him. In my working yesterday, I must have gotten SOME exercise because my gluts were so sore last night I could hardly walk up the stairs. I'm actually THINKING about getting back with the program! That's the first step for me!

I love sore muscles from activity. I know I've really done something then. Congratulations on taking on this big project and for THINKING about getting back with the program. It is indeed the first step, and you can do it!
