Happy Wednesday! This week is flying now that I'm back in school. I like my teacher for my Evidence class (which is the only class I had last night), with one exception: he won't let us eat in class!!! He thinks it's unprofessional. But most people in my classes work straight up until the time the class starts, so we are used to eating our dinners or at least a snack in the classroom. Now I'm going to have to eat TWO meals at work during the day I guess.

Tracking my calories sucks!!! It makes me realize how much I overeat! I can't hide my head in the sand anymore and fool myself that I'm eating less than I really am. My weight chart looks like a crooked pumpkin grin. I need it to become a crooked pumpkin FROWN.

I didn't spend any money yesterday, yay! Now I have $78 for 8 days. :)

That's almost 10 dollars a day! You can live on that. I'm trying to not spend any "extra" money, too. Let's buddy up. You can make me a monetary budget, and I'll make you a caloric one! :)

Alli you should try Mint.com. It's free and it totally helped me plan my budget and track my spending. :)

Christina ... track those calories ... it helped me SO much!!! Don't despair ... you'll find your groove ... honest!! It is a shock, to realize what a serving truly is ... now I know why I gained weight when I couldn't figure out what the problem was ... I was eating WAY too much!! LOL!!! I don't understand your teacher's point of view. Seems to me when you are offering classes to folks who work full time and are taking classes in the evening it would make sense to be a bit more reasonable. It's not like you are eating in front of clients!! Go figure!! Have a good day and hang in there!!

OMG you are hilarious- crooked pumpkin? i will have to check that out. It is surprising when you write it down- I found before I may have been eating a little more than I thought, maybe by 100-200 cals more a day than I originally thought and then with southbeach I thought I was eating more cals (not more food) but when I counted, I was actually only having between 1100 and 1200/day because of all the veg! at any rate I think writing it down will be helpful for you- and I really need to take your advice and do the cash thing...I really do.. now on to my internet banking for that reality check! ahve a great day chris:)
