Maine Coon -no romaine lettuce for over a month. I never buy it but will get a Caesar salad when I eat lunch out. Had just a bite of turkey on Thanksgiving, doubt it would still be impacting me if there was a problem. Jcmama - you sound like the nurse at the doctor's office. She asked me why I didn't go to the emergency room after the episode on Thursday night which was the worst one. I'm surprised how fast the doctor and hospital acted. Just called this morning and got in to see the doctor and the radiology department had left a message on my phone before I even got home. Was able to get ultrasound today because I hadn't had anything to eat or drink since early morning. Now just waiting for results and hoping no more pain.

DP - I was worried while the ultrasound was being done. I think the technician knows what is showing up and she kept focusing on one area on the right side of my abdomen. Funny, I'm almost hoping it's gallstones even though the doctor said I'd need to see a surgeon if they see gallstones again. But there are so many bad things it could be. I need to stop thinking about it.

I believe it’s the right side they focused on for hubby too. We knew like the next day or two. Fatty foods upset it. Now he can eat fatty foods but it (tmi here) makes him go to the bathroom when he eats them.

Peeperj - was it your husband's gallbladder? If so, did it need to be removed? I probably shouldn't be worrying about it yet, but I can't help it. The 3 times I experienced the pain was after eating things I don't normally eat. Twice it happened after I had apple pie and the other time it was after having chuck roast potatoes and gravy.

Yes and yes. His was after all foods. We were worried about the liver as he has some fatty spots but nope, it was the gallbladder. After removal he has less troubles for sure.

Peeperj - thanks for the information. Thanks John for your support and prayers. I always try to listen to the doctor. Liv - I am feeling better today. The last major pain was last Thursday and every night since then I experienced some tenderness and being uncomfortable. Last night was better and no pain or tenderness right now. Trying to figure out if I feel better if I eat or when I haven't eaten for hours.

So sorry, Fritzy... How are you feeling today? I have a stressful, medical thing going on, and I just keep pushing it out of my mind. I had to postpone testing until the new year. It is easy to worry and so hard to focus on the positive. Hope you get clear answers soon. ❤️

Melissa - I'm feeling fine today. Went for a walk this morning with a friend and Bobby to get my mind off of the ultrasound and lab results and when am I going to hear something. I've been thinking of calling the doctor because I am sure he would have the ultrasound information, but then I think maybe he's waiting for the lab tests results. Sorry to hear you are having health/medical issues going on as well. It's hard to put it out of your mind.
