Thank you JC - I love rare but it was a tad more rare than I prefer. The first night always starts like this so that by the time I work thru reheat on the left overs it's perfect.

Makes total sense 😊😊 steak is hard to reheat.

Haha - don't look Moo!! Yeah, JC it was really tender & good and the leftovers will be perfect. I realize the smarter thing to do would be portion it out before cooking instead of after. I can remember I'd eat this whole thing in one meal in the past.

Bella, wonderful meal!!! 😋 I like my steak the same way, for the exact same reason. 👍

JC - Two more meals, actually (unless I decide to be a total carnivore w/no sides... I never really know.) This was about an 18oz rib-eye and tonight's dinner was 5oz. Thank you too, Sherry and Becc. I credit the artichokes to Bill(Draglist) - he had those on his photos from last night. Had to have my arti's.

Moo - a new steakhouse opened up in town - they have pictures of cows & pigs on the menu. I'm like.. yeah, I know where the meat comes from but please don't put pictures of endearing animals on the menu. One of the items on the menu is called 'cow & pig burger'. Sure, it's beef & pork. I got it. Must we use the animal labels?

Bella, in Chinese we call beef, cow meat... pork pig meat... chicken... chicken if it’s a live chicken and chicken meat if it’s chicken meat hahaha 😂

Haha 😆 i guess it is strange when English has a separate word to describe the animal alive and prepared for consumption. 🧐🧐🧐

Yeah, it is. I guess that makes me a delicate snowflake, hahahaha. Not!!!

Love the steak that way. Perfect. :)

Angel -I love artichokes. I love fresh but this was canned. A lot less fuss and muss. Binky thank you. I know a lot of people who don’t like rare. So far so good on the feedback. Keyten - aka eagle eye. I was thinking this would be a good dish for you meatless Monday but I guess I spoiled that with sirloin.
