BriteEyez, I saw you're just starting your weight loss program again. I cook for myself & my husband. Most nights dinner is protein...fish, chicken or sometimes steak or pork with a large salad or a veggie or 2. I buy multi-serving pkgs. of meat/ fish & divide into servings...freezing if needed. I either bake, grill or sauté with olive oil the protein. Occasionally we eat pasta, rice or potatoes. I also like to do stir fries or meat & veggies in the crockpot. Just watch serving sizes of higher calorie choices. Good luck!

Do you know of any recipe for salmon that is makes it not so fishy ?

"Fishy" isn't fresh. Before you buy it, sniff - avoid any ammonia smell. Cook it the day you buy it, or the next day, at the latest. Don't overcook: when the flesh is opaque, it's done. I spray salmon with olive oil, grill meat side down until I get grill marks, then grill the skin side until the fish is cooked. The skin lifts off easily with a fork.

I like dill seed or dill weed sprinkled on my salmon.

Isra, Gz9 is correct. Fresh fish (or any seafood) has a mild, clean smell. If it smells strong, it is not fresh and may actually be dangerous to your health.

Yum. Salmon is the best and it can stand on its own with very little seasonings. My husband had a riding mower and used to mow our elderly neighbors lawn (the neighbor only had a push mower, and the lawn was very large)... Needless to say since our neighbor was retired he would gift us TONS of fresh salmon since he spent most of his free time fishing. @Isra16 These are some of my goto recipes... https://locarbjabberwockey.wordpress.com/?s=salmon
