Day 4 of a planned 5 days of ‘no solid food’ fasting

Today I feel much better 😁

I may even try to 🏃🏾‍♂️ run before work 👍🏾

I found that when I keep increasing my calories, but keeping my carbs (and protein) the same, I would keep losing weight. It appears to me that my body needs more than 20 carbs a day to survive. If I don't 'eat' them, my body must-get-them-from-somewhere :)

My body has two choices, convert fat (yes! this is what I want) or convert protein to glucose (this is why I watch my protein).

169.0 lb Lost so far: 38.0 lb.    Still to go: 5.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Body will make the carbs you need for sure. It is the only mactronutrient that can be made. Have made it possible for humans to survive winters in the north. So you are adding more fat? You are going to be totally keto if you do this LOL. Glad to hear you are better!!!

@liv001 - Yeah I am adding plenty of fat because I add heavy cream to my protein shakes I drink throughout the day. Hitting #Keto macros has always been my goal 😁👍🏾
