Debbie Cousins's Journal, 16 May 2019

Weight was up this morning. I was "good" all day until I got my grand daughter. Even though we made Low Carb Spaghetti on Spaghetti Squash, she wanted garlic bread, and I ate a piece with her. I ate a total of THREE Atkins Chocolate-Coconut bars, and right before bed, my husband decided he wanted a baked potato, so I had a half one with cheese and butter on it, too. Nobody MADE me eat any of those things. There wasn't high pressure to do it, I just wanted to "fit in" with my family yesterday. And, I had actually planned out all my meals the day BEFORE, but then never changed it to properly reflect what I ended up eating in the end. BUT...

Today is a brand-spankin' new day with NO mistakes in it! I updated my weekly To Do List and marked all the things I HAVEN'T done this week as well as the couple things I DID do. I'm off to a good start today, and plan to do EVERYTHING on my To Do List! I've been kinda shaky since I started the double dose of the one mediation yesterday. Hopefully, that is something that will pass as my body gets accustomed to it. Made a pitcher of iced green tea with SweetLeaf Stevia in it to help with getting in my water today. Have a load of laundry in the washer already, and all the rest is sorted. I ordered a new wrinkle reducer cream that is supposed to arrive today, and I'm starting back with my self-care routine. I plan to do ALL my PT exercises today, even if I just do one at a time every time I get up from my chair. One down so far, LOL!

Praise the Lord your prayers and "good thoughts" (@katies71) are helping, and I feel very motivated today. I'll post again this evening to let y'all know if I lived up to my expectations today. Love all you wonderful folks! Debbie

Our eating habits are sometimes socially motivated, it was just one of those days! You will have a great day today. Sounds like it started off in the right direction already!
