That was a very good article. And it hits home. When I first started this, I weighed 271 lbs. My knees were buckling under the weight of just dragging my ass around. It felt like a workout to shop for groceries or get dinner together. Not to mention how much I was underestimating how many calories I was taking in. Now that I've been at this a while, I weigh or measure everything I can (some of my more complex meals are probably off as it's hard to estimate how much you are getting of a dish of 15 ingredients), make sure that I am well under my calorie goal for the day to make up for mistakes in measurements, and move around much more as I know I'm no longer getting the workout I was as I am no longer trying to lug 271 lbs around. I hope a whole lot of people on this site see this and give it a read. Thanks for posting it Diablo.
