Calm the mind.. set your intentions..allow the universe to work...

Happy happy Tuesday to everyone....just finished meditating...a day off from peddling on zwift...rest up the legs..gonna step on scales later..not that I’m expecting any numbers to change..just been a while...didn’t go to walmart yesterday..so gotta visit there today...other then that ..think it’s rest after that..never know anymore ..things just pop up that need attention..

Watching more what I eat is changing...cycling on zwift and putting in longer rides is burning more calories than I am eating..so nits before I know I’m riding I’m trying to eat a little more knowing that the next days ride/workout is gonna burn it off..

Yesterday’s 46.36 mile ride..well here’s how it played out...I got up from a 16 hour fast...ate one stinger waffle before getting on bike(stinger waffle is like gu gel)..carbs an sugar in two bites..I normally put half in my mouth and let it dissolve as I’m riding..getting the energy burst as I’m riding..as I’m also drinking electrolyte water to replace the salt I’m losing...2 hours and 30 miles I felt great..had a couple of waffles and a couple of gu gels..at mile 30 decided..it was time to get off bike for a short rest..so had breakfast..carried it back to bike..got back on to start peddling...at mile 31..I was already thinking I need more energy...drank a small sprite..as the miles kept clicking away..my intentions was to do 50 miles..but at mile 40.. I was hoping to get 45 miles...at mile 46.36..I decided my energy was gone..was running on fumes...was time to start fueling back up...I felt happy I had rode that far in 3 hours...but was totally exhausted...took about 3 hours to feel like I did before the ride...

Living the keto lifestyle and doing the intermediate fasting is who I have become...however...I enjoy cycling and I’m learning that eating is having to change to give me the energy level I need to do the miles I set out to do...as always I feel like I’m walking a tight rope..
