Oh sure you are!! 😂 no worries my new buddy. I’m on a whole other path than you, but then I probably have about 35 more years than you. You have a wonderful future ahead of you - lots of time to drop a pound or two.

@KayBuckaroo, I've never been pregnant and have no idea if it's healthy for an expectant mother to eat to a calorie "deficit." However, I wonder how an unborn child experiences it's mother's "calorie deficit." I don't know if anyone does, but ... Please don't take this the wrong way: What if it goes like this: "Why can I *never* seem to get/have enough from the people who are closest to me?" My gut feeling is this: Consume the number of calories optimum to maintain your present weight, including your baby's weight, on any given day. Your baby needs to manufacture healthy tissue from what you feed your BODIES -- instead of trying to cut back on calories to "use up" an excess from previous days. [I could be totally off base here, but ... what if?]

Please be careful. Have never heard of a calorie deficit while pregnant. New life is delicate. Please stay healthy and safe. Prayers for you! ❤️🙏

Usually I just get back to plan as soon as possible. Not plan - 500 calories (the plan is hard enough). It usually takes 3-4 days to get back to normal

I’d like to thank everybody for chiming in Nana I am probably unable to do a calorie deficit anyways due to my morning sickness getting kicked in the high gear when I get hungry. So, thank you for your support and your insight.

Pregnant women have high levels of hCG hormone, which mobilizes fat stores to feed the growing fetus; they basically develop on a high fat keto diet.
