Welp, just about 10 years later, I am back. Things have been hard, and the only way to describe it is that I've gotten lazy and fat. I hate that word, but there it is, in black and white. It's the truth, and I need to be better.

So a little catch up for this new journey: I started the year with a Whole30, and I loved it, but living that way, especially while cooking for my picky husband means that I cannot live it 365. After that I decided to try Keto, which while I have seen amazing results for others, I cannot say the same for myself, which has been discouraging, to say the least. So now I'm back on just regular old tried and true calorie counting.

I've seen a stall in the last month (since starting keto), so now I'm full fledged and ready to change.

I need to start exercising, that I know, but the weather has just been so terrible lately, that I just cannot handle being outside for an extended period of time. So hopefully spring will come soon, and I'll be able to get outdoors and really start building a deficit, rather than staying sedentary at my desk.

Alright, since this is my first entry in quite some time, I'll leave it at this, but please expect to hear more from me, because I found that talking things out and getting things off my chest really helped my process last time, so I'm hoping that the cathartic exercise of writing journals will help me.

Welcome back! Maybe you can find something fun to do indoors? I got fitness boxing for the switch about a month ago, it's super fun!

In my area we have TV stations that are primarily exercise programs of all kinds. Don’t wait till spring to start— find something that you like and start today. My personal fave is dance to my favorite music in the living room.
