Same here Keith! He’s now spent about $10,000 in 9 years on beds. The first was memory foam. It held my pregnant shape quickly and it never was comfy after that. Then he bought one that’s firm foam 2 years ago. HATE it. I wake up after 6 hours rested but in tears. I don’t move all night and am literally in pain when I wake up. This one I can at least adjust if I need firm or soft. It adjusts to me when I roll to my side too. It makes sure to take the pressure off of areas like rear end, hips and shoulders. That’ll help my nerve issue in my right hip and hopefully my right shoulder that locks up after my surgery over two years ago. I’m gonna miss my couch though. Best sleep ever on that thing! It’s been my bed for most of the last 2 years. Hubby said no kids or cats in the bed so I told him I may be back on the couch then lol.

This one was $3600 with tax, shipping and set up (and a pillow). We didn’t go for the base that adjusts. That’ll be in the future maybe.

@Keith😁 yes it is! It will learn our bodies over a couple weeks and adjust as needed depending on how we are laying and where we have too much pressure. Not worth the $ for me when I’m in love with my couch and get excellent sleep on it. But hubby has been wanting a sleep number bed for probably 15 years. I wish someone could analyze my couch and make a bed with the same cushion versus firmness lol. Except with a cooling feature so that it turns on heatering or cooling pad when I’m hot or cold!

Thanks rosio! I’ll post when I know if I can actually get a good nights sleep in it. They told me 7-10 days before it’ll start to adjust to me. Be prepared to see my bitchy side if I don’t sleep well for a week or more lol. And the log will show lots more junk food.

Lol Chris. I think hubby just had an addiction to researching and buying mattresses! Can’t come to terms with the fact that he is now over 40 and his back WILL hurt when he abuses himself the way he does lol. Men ugh! I agree that it cost too much$$$! At 11 mom bought me a twin daybed and mattress set for less than $200 lol. A king is basically two twins. Even a regular spring king mattress set is $1500 here without the frame. Some as high as this bed. Costs have sure gone up the last 20 or so years (more like 25+🤔 🤫).

@Keith same here! But if it makes him happy....
@CB he got me one too. I love vacuuming though. The roomba is nice though. If I know ahead of time of company coming I can set it to go while I get other things done.
@Chris self cleaning dishes would be nice. However there’s this little invention called a dishwasher. You stick in dirty dishes and a few hours later you take out clean ones! That’s hubbys chore along with mowing on his fancy mower and dealing with health insurance so I don’t go to prison for assault lol. Although on the dishes I do them when he’s gone and usually once a week so about 1/3 of the time.
