Happy Sunday, fs!

So last night i went to retirement party at a local brewery that was hipster central. it was a lot of fun, but let's just say i am not surprised to be up on the scale today. I still need to log a bunch of it. 😞 I try to be good and i do much better than i used to "before" but it is hard to be on my program when i socialize. A lot of it is my social awkwardness and using food and drink as an activity, a buffer and something to talk about at social gatherings. But it was fun to get out with humans for a change. I met some nice new neighbors at the end of my street, so that was nice.

I was all dressed to go to a brunch meeting this morning (my friend is on the board of a startup nonprofit and is getting a few ppl to do some volunteer advising on fundraising). I wore my sweater and I fit nicely into the tights and skirt (size m) for the first time. However, it is still snowing hard, and after skidding around just trying to get out of my neighborhood i called off. She was nice about it but i feel bad.

My brain was all set for brunch early, so i broke fast early. I had what i was hoping they would have on buffet, lol. big salad, mushroom, spinach, salami and American cheese omelet, black beans and rice. If i could keep it to omad it would be a good day. We'll see.

Rm is out of town of course, so i will be back out to shovel later today. Hope everyone's having a good weekend!

Have a good day! The only way I can OMAD is if I go to bed right after eating, but it is hard to get anything done if I eat before noon Haha!

Ty gals! I splurged on boots as a weight loss reward. they take a lot of "crunching" to get into them! I like them a lot. Turns out they have good traction on ice too, haha. @adef, yeah, i find omad only works if i eat it late afternoon at the earliest.

Cute outfit! And of course your meal looks delicious. 😋 I was channeling you this afternoon. I made a "casserole", using the rest of that popper cheese mixture, ground beef, brown rice and sweet peas. It was so good! Trying not to have another 2 cups for dinner. I have to stick to the lean venison steak so I don't overdo the carbs. Hope your snow shoveling goes fast. 😊

Ty gals! This particular friend is an executive and dresses very conservatively, and she thinks i dress too wacky, so i have noticed i tend to do it more around her, lol. @becca, your description of that casserole made my mouth water, lol. The peas is what really got me, lol. I can start eating that kind of thing and just not stop, lol.

Also, i shoveled at my place and then the neighbor's for 45 mins. Still need to do both our driveways tomorrow. I think we are supposed to get more for the next few days. It burns calories, at least...
