BMax666's Journal, 11 January 2019

I dialed it back on intensity at the gym today. I had to, I can't train that hard 10 days in a row. Woke up with my back killing me, so I stretched, then walked to the gym and did yoga for about 15 minutes, then did the stairclimber for 45 floors. I had to pause my it a few times, but I did the whole 45 floors. Worked abs a little, walked the track, then relaxed in the jacuzzi before I walked home.
When I got home I used the foam roller and my back slid back into place and I felt OK the rest of the day.
The contractor came to put in new kitchen cabinets, so I took the daughter to breakfast at Village Inn, got a cobb salad.
Drove to Provo to see my dad, then a movie with the daughter, I didn't eat popcorn, just drank water, then to a buffet where I kept my dinner keto. So I survived at least 3 excuses to carb up. I did well today.

The temptations will always be there, but we always have the option to "just do the next right thing." You're obviously acing this, Brian! I'm envious of your exercise discipline! I've been "sedentary" for many, many years. I'm just starting to INCREASE my activity level, though. Certainly not as impressive as your accomplishments, but still, it's progress for me! Keep being the inspiration you are!

Debbie, in my 40s I rode my bicycle about 30 miles a day to work and back, and stopped at the gym to lift weights for about an hour on my way home. The pain in my joints is what keeps me from being addicted to exercise like I used to.

Sounds like you're STILL addicted to me! Why couldn't God have made ME addicted to exercise, instead of to sweets, breads, and Diet Coke???
