Oh and the most important part. Taste so sweeeeeeet! :) :) This is my new 'go to' when I need a sugar hit.

Revised the 'recipe'. Only need 1/8 a scoop of the protein powder. Basically it 'explodes' when you hit it with the Club Soda. So, not much protein powder is required. Yo can also skip the Splenda entirely if you are not a sugar addict...

@CrashtestDawnie - Since my wife has practically eliminated all the 'good carbs' in the house, yesterday I was lookin around for something 'filling' and 'carby' (is that a word?). My eyes kept settling on the "Quest Vanilla Milkshake Protein Powder". I know I can ask her to mix it in heavy cream with ice cubes for a 3 carb 'milkshake' but that was too 'heavy' for my current desires. Then I thought, I really need to just drink some water. I always drink Club Soda rather than 'flat water'. I then thought "What if I combine the two?". @PrincessValerie gave me a doubtful look as I created the concoction but even she tasted it and said it wasn't bad. I feel it is the greatest thing ever created! If I have time today I plan to do some more experiments. So far it appears that the Club Soda completely breaks the protein powder down. I put some club soda in my morning coffee (protein powder, Splenda, Heavy Cream, MCT Oil, Coffee) and it did not have the normal 'grittiness' from the undissolved protein powder. The 'concoction' was 'watery'. Now, I like my morning coffee to be 'thick' so I probably wont do that again, but for a afternoon drink I may be on to something...

@Draglist - More experiments: (1) Half water and half Club Soda. Turns out the Club Soda is required to completely break down the protein powder. So, this ended up being 'chalky' and the taste was not even close to pure Club Soda. So this was Bleh! (2) Half water and half Club Soda and heavy cream. This was better than just the water and Club Soda but the taste was not 'compelling'. - - Conclusion: It is the Club Soda that makes the difference.

@Draglist - Yeah after I proudly announced that I invented something new, my wife took one look at it and said "You just invented Egg Cream..." :)

@CrashtestDawnie - I think you may like it :) I just filled a bag, to take to work tomorrow, with a Tupperware container with the protein powder mixed with Splenda, a bottle of Club Soda, and a huge cup to mix it in (half the cup fills with foam when you mix the stuff). My plan is to drink this all day long. It should add up to 5-6 total carbs for the day.

5-6 carbs a day is great! When I get back I’ll probably up my fasting game :D I want to start doing extended day fast each week

@Draglist - Even I laughed at the time:)

@CrashTestDawnie - Did my first day with this stuff, sooo much better than just water or tea. Let's see what my weight is tomorrow... If you do extended fasts Puhlease! take a full electrolyte supplement. Dont just take salt. you need the FULL range of electrolytes. So many people are feeling weak and dizzy. I have none of that, but I hit the electrolytes hard.

30 Jul 18 by member: CrashtestDawnie
@CrashtestDawnie - I use "Hi-Lyte Electrolyte Concentrate" Yeah its $20 a bottle but worth it to not feel like crap all day :) Read the reviews on Amazon: https://amzn.to/2H9DUsB

That’s not that bad considering that you aren’t eating anything else. I’ll look into it when I get home. Or at least research how to make my own!
