I’m not sure why... but I ended up 600 calories over my recently lowered goal. I just wanted to eat! I enjoyed steamed spiraled zucchini, plain rice cakes, corn on the cob, and plain Greek yogurt with a T of honey for dessert. I ate 2 dinners... 3 hours apart. I guess this split shift tonight has me packing in the calories in preparation. Kinda want to go back in time and not eat everything I did, but I’m telling myself that in 2 hours I will need it to give me energy for the night. My mini binge cost me my continued downward trend on the scale... and I’m not sure how long it will take of good behavior to get back in motion. 🙄 all of this in just 20 minutes. Fastest eater in the West!

Sometimes there doesn't seem to be a bottom to our stomachs. That was yesterday for me. 12 hour shifts make it worse for me. Have more time to be bored and think about food, haha!

I don’t eat at work, but I rebound eat after... and I apparently preloaded before my second shift tonight. Hopefully the extra calories don’t bug me while I’m on the ship, trying to climb and squat etc I did dream of a candy bar today for the first time in a long time. Maybe i should have just gotten a candy bar 🤷🏻‍♀️

20 minutes sounds good to me , if I don't concentrate I eat my food in less than 5 minutes 😐🐷

Do they not give you time to eat— it’s the law. If you get too hungry you just end up eating whatever is available wolfing down thingsyou don’t really want.

I would congratulate myself if I could stretch a meal to 20 minutes.

With the heavy work that you do, perhaps sometimes your body just need more.

Your body was saying feed me...Don't lose any sleep over it..you'll turn it around. p.s. next time eat that snickers bar and keep your water up.

Well you are busting your ass at work! I’d be hungry too lol Also could be all the carbs. They burn up so quick :/

At least it was a good food You ate. I agree with someone mentioning that going without for for longer periods of time will get you to the point of eating non stop...
