Does this mean that other governments are more concerned with their citizen's health? So what does this mean?

@BlueFront That's really cool! I know rabbit can be delicious, my great grandparents used to raise them for food (never got a chance to get grow attached)...I figured the same holds true for guinea pigs...long as I don't know 'em I should be okay lol

Chrisw77, silly rabbit - because you said 'Silly Bitch' was the name of your biography.

lol... well a bitch is a female dog. a bitch is dually described as an insult for the female sex. This confusion was NOT brought on by living in a patriachal society with gender based insults, but by 'toi' by appropriating yourself with a gender based insult as the title of your autobiography. (toi = French for 'you'!) :)

FDA needs to give you cheap crap food make you obese and sick so their best friend Merk can give some pills for the sickness.. It's a business a big money business at your health expense.

@eat_les - well, I try not to believe in something so cynical and so 'conspiracy laden' (i remain incredulous of such malvolence - and hopefully I'm right) but it certainly plays out that way!!! Could it be that we're just pawns?

Oh my gosh Eat_les—- sooo, how many people does it actually take to hold a person down in order to feed them that cheap crap. Just askin.

America has a litigious system where people need to be injured and sue companies and institutions to make change and even then it can take hundreds of claims before anything is done. Europe is a little more proactive in making the food companies prove their products are safe for consumers.

It's only my perspective, opinion. By no means do think it's a conspiracy, I think it is a business. I have worked in healthcare and there are patients who recieve government meals on wheels programs, upon my observation and to my great disgust I would see processed foods, highly processed foods being brought into the patients, all the while I sit there looking at their daily pills being 10+.. That is a small example, while wr have choices not all people are educated and believe if the FDA approves it must be safe, must of the time there is no proven case studies only trial and error and thus leaves us last on the list when it comes to other countries on the food "ban" Food is medicine no doubt.

@Chrisw77 = you may not have to be strapped down bc it's a fact that companies hire chemists to maximize the ingredients which will hit the pleasure centers. Hence, Lay's commercial 'you can't just have one!'. The food is knowingly addictive. I've seen a report on 60 minutes about it. I think they are called Flavorists, and the journalist did mention 'addiction' in the report. So, although no one is forcing us, food industries are addicting us, through processed foods. I known that once I start with processed foods, it's very hard to stay on my woe plan. I crave for more. Now, whether that's in cahoots with Big Pharma, i doubt it, but it plays well into their hands and their cash register.

That's why I try not to use processed food while trying to maintain a low budget. That's also probably why I've made my goal weight.

@rosio19 - then you must not be addicted. The definition of an addiction is not to be able to stop using the substance. I know I'am addicted, and it's a very slippery slope for me to have 'just a few'... insiduously, I go back to having too much. But now with age, if I stray too long and too hard, my joints hurt and I don't feel well. So the wake up call comes very clear and very fast. But Godspeed if you can still enjoy in moderation the tastes of foods that are dubious, healthwise. Whatever rocks your boat!

Really what I meant, is good for you if you can enjoy foods that tastes super good! I'm jealous! :) (my msge didn't come across as planned)

I have eaten more than my share of slugs, bugs, rats and snakes. Roasting them on a fire makes them food just like anything else. Some nice and crunchy and sort of tasty. Boiled not quite so much, and raw is tough.

U don’t get obese without being addicted to food
19 Jul 18 by member: rosio19
Sure you can! Just eat too much and drink too much alcohol and don't use up your energy and you'll become obese. I'm talkind addiction, whereas you have absolute no control over your willpower when it comes to food. You can't stop eating.

@Kenna - just out of curiosity, where would you have eaten these off the grid foods?
