So yesterday's eating was less planned than usual (for me) and I went slightly over on carbs and calories. The good news - I did my IF yesterday! It's not really that hard to go 16 hours if i keep myself busy and/or just distracted - and so far today I'm managing it again. I will confess I am having my coffee with 1T butter when I get up - I know some will say that's cheating but others say it's ok, and honestly I'm going to do this in a manner that works for me. Right now I'm not yet ready to give that up, maybe in a few weeks or months I will. Some progress is better than none.

I've realized I was losing more quickly when I was eating less than what my macros suggest so I'm going to attempt to do that Monday through Friday because my goal is to loose weight not bounce around a plateau that's much higher than what I want to weigh. With my current goal, I still have 37 #'s to go and in a perfect world I'd have it done by Christmas - to meet that goal I'd need to loose 1.5# per week, and I think I can manage that. All that said, I'm not sure if my goal is what it should be - maybe I really need to loose more than that - I'll figure it out when I get there.

We're still on baby-watch - our Grand daughter's due date was the 4th and her Mama feels like things are beginning to happen (this is her 2nd, our son's first, and will be our 2nd Grand Baby). Our 2 week heat wave has finally broken - going to get in a walk with the dog this morning and a kayak this evening, and a ride tomorrow. Sunday I may go to the gymn and try some new machines - or I'll go kayaking again - have a I mentioned that I love kayaking ? Hope everyone has a great day and a super-fantastic weekend!

Update - walked with the dog - 4.47 KM, 48 minutes - my fitness pal says I burned 395 calories FS says less - does MFP calculate hills into the factor maybe ???
187.0 lb Lost so far: 13.1 lb.    Still to go: 37.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
