Today I lost my greatest father figure. I loved him dearly and he loved me. He dealt with my teenage bs, he held my babies when they were born and he yelled at me for not speaking to my mother long after he had forgiven her for leaving. He never asked for a single thing; he just loved me and my babies (who are all grown up now). He was a great man and I still love him very much. I love him more than I ever realized. Sorry, this has nothing to do with diet but it is MY journal after all.

Thank you everyone for your well wishes and sympathy. It's been very hard but I'm looking forward to spending some time with my mom.
