Angela Storms, honestly? It depends on so many things for me.😊 I am currently not at my goal weight... Shame on me, but I give myself a little grace since I'm having some pretty rough life situations lately. This drop was mostly just a readjustment from having had some unusually indulgent times. When first starting my journey here, I was pretty consistently at 1700 a day. As I got closer to my goal, I needed to shift to 1500 to keep losing. I wobble around a lot now so thst I have high and low days, but I can maintain around 2000. Highly active times I can have more. My muscle mass has slipped a bit... More than a bit this winter because of an injury, so I can't eat as much and still maintain... Thus I'm hanging more than five pounds above goal, and I can't convince myself to do what needs to be done to go below again... 😁 That was a lot more than you asked for, but, it is my story that sort of explains "how many calories to lose this." 😁 ❤️

Tim, that is really sweet and incredibly encouraging to this rather discouraged human. I guess holding off 40 pounds for nearing 3 years is OK. The loss used to be 46 and fit as a fiddle, but 40 is OK for now I guess. I'm not satisfied, but for most of my adult life I was too heavy and bounced up so much with each of my many pregnancies. With spring coming, I am hoping for some greater motivation and the old habits of working out hard will want to be remembered. If I can get some of the stress to ease, that would help too, but life is anxiety all the time for many... Just gotta live with it. If you can do what you do, I have zero excuses! ❤️

We are our own worst judges! I think you are doing great. I've resigned myself this new 'winter' weight 🙂 Hope your stress alleviates soon!
