TODAYS BIKE WORKOUT/RIDE ...ZWIFT ..NEW COURSE CALLED THE RUINS..

What a workout..got alot of hill climbin in today..i almost took today off..cause today makes 4 days of riding..but longer i was up this morning..just gave my mind longer to talk my body into a ride..im nearing the 3900 mile mark for the year in miles..most miles ive ever rode in a years time..still hoping to hit 5000 by end of year..but not really expecting to..if it happens..great...if not..then maybe next year...

WELL..JUST finished eating salad..

i do have a question for anyone...i often get cold around 10am...im thinking its my body needing rest..i get up at 4am...by 5am im on bike doing a workout/ride on zwift...at 7am or so..i have breakfast..by 930am or 10am..i have my lunch or salad..and usually about this time i get so cold about only way to warm up is to get under the covers..for body to get warm...just seems like my body cant get warm enough...alot of times 30 minutes under the covers is long enough for body to get warm...an then im ok rest of day till next day..im thinkin its my body needing rest..cause sometimes i take a 30 min nap...sometimes just laying down an getting warm is enough...any ideas...

here are todays stats for ruins ride on zwift...

Based on your activity levels, your calories may be too low. I keep a heater under my desk, which it happens to be on now (no shame in my game). My activity levels are very sporadic and as a result, my caloric intake fluctuates as well despite being focused more on my macros vs calories.

I don't have an answer, but probably Chesgreen is correct.

If I exercised as much as you I would not be cold at all! The only thing I can think of that can make you cold (beside not keeping the thermostat up high enough, which I tend to do) is an under active thyroid. I don't think that happens to men as much as women, but it does happen.

Thanks everyone...my thermostat is set to 72 for heat and cool...when I ride each day I have 2 fans blowing air in room I ride as it's just that hot...you can walk out of room when some is on trainer an feel difference between rooms...im guessing my body is just tired by 10 am...an needs a rest ...seems to happen everyday about same time..even if I ride outside that day..body just needs to recoup...

3900 miles of awesomeness WBH...good luck shooting for 5000!! My bike was put away a few days ago, winter is firmly here up north...ski season starting in one week at our nearby mountains. :-)

Steven...if you had a trainer for bike...then you could enjoy riding year around..along with your winter activities..

3900 miles, just thinking about that causes me to feel pain below the waist...

Hey WBH, I sure did consider getting a trainer and sent you a PM why no trainer for me...essentially just too many other activities on the go...have a good one mate!!
