Thanks everyone for the kind comments about our tree. It's a fresh cut Fraser fir. Fraser firs are native to the Appalachian Mountains of the Southeastern United States. It is the type of tree my parents used to buy for Christmas when I was a child. My Wife and I always say to each other that this will be our last year for a live tree. Then we set it up and the whole house smells like Christmas. Maybe next year... Merry Christmas Everyone!!!

It is so beautiful even without the decorations!!! Wow! I think fresh Christmas trees are impractical, expensive, messy, and perfectly delightful!!!! It is the one gift I want each year! 🎄 ⛄ ❤️
